Nightfall

Night fell quickly upon Blade City, or at least it seemed so to the winged figure perched upon the rooftop of the tallest building in the immediate vicinity. The stars were unusually bright for being in the city, but he took no notice of their beauty, or that of the moon. His only concern was with having light to see by, and the full moon was helpful for hunting vigilantes who always were eager to come out and play at night. Tonight he was here for a certain caped crusader. A rookie. One who would likely get killed by some mugger or thief if he didn't intervene before they took their heroism too far. The law was there for a reason, and these "heroes" broke outside of it to be do-gooders in a world that didn't need them. So Angel watched, and he waited, for the one the people called "Sentinel".
